Richter (VST, VST3, AudioUnit)

Richter is a two LFO tremolo, the interaction of which creates far more complex volume oscillations than can be created with a single LFO. The rate and depth controls of each LFO can each be modulated by two more LFOs to create variations in frequency and depth, and tempo sync is available on all oscillators.

Install instructions and plugins for all supported platforms are included in the download.

Feature Summary:

  • Two LFOs
  • Two control modulation LFOs
  • Separate rate, depth, wave shape, control modulation amount and bypass controls per oscillator
  • Sine, Square and Saw wave shapes
  • Independent tempo sync and phase sync on all oscillators
  • Stereo processing mode

Carve (VST, VST3, AudioUnit)

Carve is a wave shaping distortion with several available waveforms and two distortion units, which can be configured in serial, parallel, or stereo, and then blended with the dry sound.

Each distortion unit offers the same controls: waveform, gain, volume, and tweak. The behaviour of the tweak dial depends on the chosen waveform, and offers a wider range of sounds from a single wave by manipulating parameters unique to the chosen wave.

Feature Summary:

  • Two independent distortion units
  • Independent gain, volume, tweak controls for each distortion unit
  • Serial and parallel signal paths
  • Master volume and dry blend
  • 6 wave shapes
  • Independent left and right channel processing

There are five available wave types:

  • Sine – very well behaved and versatile, one of the most popular waves for wave shaping
  • Parabolic Soft
  • Parabolic Hard – these two parabolics offer more or less aggressive variants of the popular parabolic wave
  • Asymmetric Sine – similar to the standard sine but with a thinner sound
  • Exponent – by far the most aggressive, particularly good on synth basses. At full gain the tweak dial can take this from huge saturated distortion to buzzy/glitchy
  • Hard Clipper – Hard clipping distortion with a soft knee, based on a square wave

MONSTR (VST, VST3, AudioUnit)

MONSTR is a multiband stereo imaging plugin, available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It allows the user to control the stereo width of a sound in 3 different frequency bands, and so can be used to perform common tasks such as narrowing the bass frequencies while adding width to the highs, allowing fine control over the stereo image of your mix.

Install instructions and plugins for all supported platforms are included in the download.

Feature Summary:

  • Three independent frequency bands
  • Right-click to bypass any individual band
  • Linkwitz-Riley crossover design for an even frequency response, preventing unwanted colouration of the audio

FL;TR (Reaktor Ensemble)

This is the FL;TR Reaktor ensemble, offering a unique and more intuitive approach to complex filter modulation.

Currently FL;TR features three pairs of peak filters, the peaks in each pair move towards and away from each other according to the LFOs. Each pair features the same four controls; resonance and boost affect the width and height of the peaks respectively; while centre freq controls the frequency which the peaks are either side of and peak space controls the distance between the pair of peaks.

Two LFOs are available, both of which output a blend of sine-triangle and sine-square waveforms, and each filter pair can be modulated by either one, or a combination of both.

Feature Summary:

  • A unique approach to complex filter modulation
  • 3 LFO controlled peak filters
  • 3 blendable LFO waveforms
  • Independent resonance, boost/cut and positioning controls for each filter pair
  • 2 LFOs which can be blended differently for each filter pair
  • Individual filter pair bypass

Songbird (VST, VST3, AudioUnit)

Songbird is a modulated vowel/formant filter. Select two vowels and then modulate between them using either the manual slider or the LFO.

There are five vowel sounds and two modulation modes available to choose from. The "freq" modulation mode allows you to modulate a single filter between the two vowels chosen, to create a powerful vocal sound. The "blend" mode provides a more subtle effect, modulating the mix between two parallel filters.

Songbird is ideal for creating both vocal bass sounds and subtle filter sweeps.

Install instructions and plugins for all supported platforms are included in the download.

Feature Summary:

  • Manual or LFO driven modulation
  • 5 vowels to choose from
  • 3 LFO waveforms
  • Dry/wet mix control
